Emaar Super Cup: A celebration of excitement and prestige

 The Emaar Super Cup, one of the UAE’s premier football events, required a visual identity that captured its excitement and prestige. With top teams Al Wasl and Shabab Al Ahli from the UAE Pro League battling for the trophy in the 17th edition, the branding was designed to elevate the experience for both fans and players before, during, and after game day.

For the Emaar Super Cup, we developed a clear visual language that incorporated the Emaar logo, font styles, and branding to ensure consistency across all touchpoints.

Drawing inspiration from the opulence and bold geometric style of the Art Deco era, the visual identity captures a sense of timeless sophistication. The sharp lines, rich textures, and luxurious details in the branding reflect the grandeur and significance of the tournament. From the colour palette to promotional materials, every element is designed to create an atmosphere of prestige, combining the excitement of football with the elegance of early 20th-century design. 

These brand guidelines ensure that all visual and written expressions of the Emaar Super Cup remained consistent, refined, and true to the tournament’s high standards. By following these principles, we maintained the premium experience and unique identity that positions the Emaar Super Cup as a premier sporting event.

The colour palette takes inspiration from the Emaar brand, using their shades of grey to create a professional and premium aesthetic. These shades are offset with a gold, or silver foil, which further enhances the prestige of the event.

All event collateral and advertising visuals were designed for both digital and print platforms to match the premium feel of the league. From advertising and tickets to on-ground visuals, we ensured a seamless experience for spectators.
